Located at 415 Waterfront Dr, Seabrook, TX 77586, Rose's Seafood Inc operates as a seafood market serving Seabrook in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Seabrook with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Texas may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 amβ5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Wednesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (281) 474-3536. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, rosesseafood.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 2,968 reviews, which is a strong result for a seafood market in Seabrook and suggests consistent service.
Seabrook is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Seabrook is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Rose's Seafood is another one of my go to spots when I am looking for fresh seafood. This was not my first visit, I've been here several times and have consistently enjoyed my purchases, particularly the fresh fish and shrimp. What really stands out to me is the selection. They offer an extensive variety of seafood, including fresh fish, shrimp, crab, and plenty of other options. If you're looking for something beyond fresh seafood they also have a large selection of frozen options including lobster π¦, crawfish tails, various Cajun sausages, and other options. They also have a great selection of fish fry mixes and seasonings, which makes it easy to pick up everything you need in one stop. You can really taste the difference when you're eating fresh fish, there is simply no other way to eat fish! I will definitely continue to return. β€οΈ

Upon walking in I noticed they don't spend much time doing house keeping, there's a rotted fish smell to the place. More process fish than fresh catch. Upon inspecting the blue crabs, most were dead and they weren't on ice. My husband walked into the customer's only restroom and exited quickly. He said the filth was unbelievable. Wouldn't be buying seafood here.

Fresh Gulf Shrimp with large variety. Good price. Had coolers with ice to go home with for $9 if you didn't bring your own.

On Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 9:47 AM, I purchased two cartons of crab fingers from Rose's Seafood Inc at $21.98 per carton. Once we got home and started eating them, we immediately noticed how extremely salty they were. I understand seafood naturally contains salt from the ocean, and Iβve eaten seafood my entire life, but the sodium level on these crab fingers was so overwhelming it actually started hurting our throats, so we stopped eating them altogether. I called the market the following morning and was told they could only take them back if the cartons were unopened. Honestly, how would anyone know there was an issue without opening them first? She even asked if I had opened both cartons. Yes β because that was supposed to be our dinner. The cartons werenβt even sealed in any way. What disappointed me most was the lack of customer service. No offer of store credit, refund, or even an attempt to make things right. I was simply told, βSorry to hear that.β I was also told that sometimes you should rinse crab fingers under cold water. In all my years eating seafood, I have never had to rinse crab fingers, and doing so would only leave them soggy and tasteless. I believe Rosie's
